Protest Action Suspended

Sense prevailed.

The Rep bodies are going to the Meeting offered to them prior to the strike being called.

Sadly the Minister had to explain to them how a Bill progresses through parliament, the rep bodies seemed to believe it only takes a couple of weeks.

Seriously … we need a little intelligence at the table.

    Sense prevailed???? No…rather the minister has finally realised that TTnH are a serious, intelligent and pro active rep body whose committee and members have decided enough is enough!!! We will defend and protect our industry and our families!!! Well done to Dave,Alan and the rest of the guys involved. PS Roy…it must be time you changed that couch you spend so much time sitting on and moaning!

    Nothing changed, they just called off the strike, they’re going to a meeting that had been offered to them before the strike was called.

    Look over on the form post after post Roy is making a concerted effort
    To discredit ttnh.forthe last year now reps are muppets this that and the other.ttnh are full time taxi drivers its the members make the decision we are intouch with our business.
    So 8 penalty points your off the road for 3. Months no welfare no income that is draconian.

    Their was a change a big change the minister
    Wrote to us the letter arrived by courier.all the reps met and decided to put back the protest till after the meeting.

    So S class .The protest is off until after the meeting .If you get your arse slapped by the minister will the protest still be on .posters in the forum told you you would get thrown out of the airport if you posted and some of the reps realised that and ran away .If you protest thats the end of your club .TTnaH are only a club even the minister who is desperate for someone to talk to wont give you a chair at the table in the taxi association

    Laff.Personally sitting at tables has got nowhere.but I’m only one voice.all would be put to a vote by the club.o and by the way I don’t work the port.€400 no way.

    I think you’re wrong Paulie, the rep bodies have no stomach for a fight (luckily enough) they will take whatever crumbs the minister offers and call it a victory, that is my hope anyway.
