The Mountain Pub tour:

A Dublin favourite, "the pub crawl" but with a difference:

Departing from Dublin city centre, we will visit five of Dublin's most authentic pubs, populated with real old time Dubliner's. Along the way you will be enthralled with fantastic vistas of the city, views over the beautiful Dublin bay and photogenic scenes across the Dublin mountains, complete with an entertaining and informative commentary. You will be free for a half an hour in each pub to sample the atmosphere. The price includes a Table D'hote meal and entrance tp Johnny Foxe's  traditional Irish hooley night -

Pick up is at 5pm at a location suitable to you. We will get to know each other as we make our way out of the city towards Rathfarnham, the official starting point of our tour.

We will take you up into the hills from Rathfarnham, whilst trying not to bore you, we will tell you a little of the history of the places we travel through and also point out the houses of the rich and famous as we pass.

The first pub we visit will be the "Merry Ploughboy", recently taken over by traditional Irish band; "The Merry ploughboys", hence the name. We'll mix in with the locals. hopefully there'll be a session going, if not there's likely to be something to debate
